NO, it's NOT !

We've had people die TODAY from other contagion's yet NO ONE is concerned about them.

Why are we wanting pandemonium from this ?

Umm. Yes we have had people die today from other contagions and who is to say NO ONE is concerned or cares about them? There needs to be more done with these other contagions sure but we're talking about something that has been in the news and is something that if it gets out of hand could by all means turn out to be a pandemic that could equal the influenza of 1918 or so... This doctor may have shown concern for helping in that part of the world but showed total disregard for those he came into contact with after he got home... The CDC has changed their story on their "keeping an eye" on those who are at high risk how many times already? They've changed the limits on high temps quite a few times, allowed a person to fly with a low grade fever that shouldn't have.. They have dropped the ball and we've been lied to again and again.. As far as believing anything the govt. says about this disease it's a crazy.. What this doctor did was totally irresponsible and wrong and showed total disregard for the lives of others in the largest city in the US...
btw, they said "any" bodily fluids did they not? Even a sweaty hand touching a door knob and they claimed the virus could survive there for at least 12 hours (CDC said this)... So would you be willing to take your son, daughter or grandkid and let them open that door and then stick their hand in the mouth or suck their thumb?

Again, Sorry you feel NO ONE is concerned about these other contagions but maybe some more awareness might help?? I have to go to the dr. just about once a week and the fear is there about other contagions or picking up something nasty... For those who are healthy the worst place to go is to a hospital for a visit or a doctors office as you're more likely to pick up a bug there..
I'd like to know what contagions you're talking about? Staff? Other bugs that our meds won't work on? How much do we want to bet we won't have a few more that come down with Ebola within a short period of time again and our govt. will have an excuse for us? This one isn't so much on the CDC but the Dr. himself..

PS: also a +1 to Pete MN's post... This is NOT about hysteria, it is a fact! It happened and he should have been in quarantine for a reasonable amount of time(but the CDC keeps changing that timeline too),
