Sort of Central to North Central Iowa | Got a new 30' FD75 this spring set up for an early CIH 2388 for 66500. Cuts great, ran late one night, got out of the combine and my boots were soaking wet from the dew on the lawn. Never new it was that damp. The straw spreads evenly out of the chopper/spreaders instead of coming out in bursts. Feeds so much smoother, like having a different combine.
My combine did not have field tracker and I had issues with my 30' 1020. Really should have had tracker with that head. The nice thing is the MacDon floats along, and on our ground, the springs and wings work great, and I didn't have to buy field tracker. Dave.
Edit: Our head is a 30' FD75-S, single drive, has inboard and outboard skid shoes and an extra sickle. It does not have the guage wheels/low speed transport.
