Just buy over the counter elk in CO and hunt the rough country say NE New Mex.
no one really knows where the supposed state border is...soo. such be life.
heck there's 30 to 50 elk that winter in Kenton OK.
( since OK state game and fish...does not heven have em listed as an animal.....hmmmm )
