Subject: would grazing corn with lactating dairy cows work?

whitesville new york
This has been one tough year. We've had a few more than normal mechanical break downs and the Weather has not been the best witch lead to late corn planting, weather has been cool and wet all Summer, so it is slow to mature and I think its still a little wet to go in a silo. I was going to start filling my 18x45 but dropped unloader 3-5 feet this morning. Good news is the unloader seems to be undamaged, but I still have a broken cable to deal with.

I've got a 2.5 acre field that is already fenced in with poly wire, I'd just need to set up a cross wire. What do you guys think?
