N FLA | No. But when I start feeding from my bag of silage it will be near that. I suspect that's what it would take in above mentioned year round feedyard. My example. If my feed is worth $60/ton, which is ballpark local price, it will cost 2.70 per day. Difference though I don't have anybody offering $60 per ton. And it was cover crop with no harvesting cost. I suspect somebody running a confinement yard would have to pay that. I've grazed 80 cows since Jan 1 with only brought in feed being 4 tons of ddg/salt. I try to graze 365, but I'm exploring this feed concept to create value from some land W/O fence or water where I'm using chicken litter and cover crops for my row crops.
