Most will argue that crops can't be raised without insecticides or fungicides....however when a soil or plant BRIX (sugar content) exceeds 10%, not most but all disease and insects, and fungal problems will naturally go away. Now we can start to pull all available nutrients out of the air..........except CALCIUM! IMHO calcium is the mother nutrient, with out mom around the kids(micro nutrients) will become unbalanced (out of line)
It's all about balanced soil, not good chemical, fungal, or insect program
