I'm just really curious how those numbers did so terrible. 9740 won my plot last year that had Stine and LG numbers in it. 9739 is one of the better hybrids on my farm. But, we are irrigated and don't have dryland plots, so for something to do that poorly in a plot, there is a reason, whether it be green snap, pollination issues, etc. and I have seen shading cause issues. Not to the tune of that many bushels, though. | |
