Beresford, SD
Everything related to livestock revolves around SHRINK!!!!!!!!!! 1500# bales baled DRY........My Guess 1350-1375.....weight loss is curing loss. (no matter how dry, bales sweat) I have some beautiful 2nd cut alfalfa (no rain) net wrapped hay weight 1950# the day I baled only 1775# Saturday.....ground them in the tub grinder....threw a few on the feed wagon to weigh.........Nothing but curing loss.......had bales siting on bale wagon to dry the bottom of the bales for a week......they ground very easy. Beautiful grass green alfalfa hay...top dollar stuff!
