paul the original - 10/19/2014 14:04 Really, wifi only? Wow, that would be a bugger. Paul Like Weldon said, to each his own. I've been running a wifi only tablet for 3 years now. It's been rare that I felt I wanted to connect to the internet when wifi wasn't available. In a pinch, I can just turn on an access point on my phone. I don't need the cost of a data plan for my tablet this way. However, some of you have other requirements, and that's fine. There are other Windows 8 based tablets out there besides the MS offerings. One of the things I would miss on the Surface would be GPS capability (if I recall the specs correctly). I don't use it a lot on my tablet, but do like it. |
