I was at Wallyworld and saw a Nook. It let you set up a pop email account just like a computer and it was 9 inches I think. A little more money $179 vs $139 but I can't find anyplace that gives me the kind of information I want regarding the Amazon Fire. Does it have an email client that does pop?
