| My wife and I have Droid II's - bought back in '10 - feel thoroughly modern now? - and our phones do the exact same thing. I've researched the Verizon knowledgebase to no avail. However, if we press the "dial" button more than once, we'll get duplicate calls to the same number, and that confuses the heck out of the person we're calling.
Issue seems to have begun about a year ago and progressively gotten worse - especially if you press the call-back button in the Recent calls folder. Quicker dial-ups (Lordy, that sounds even older) happen if you select the number from your favorites list.
Now... where's that crank handle for my charger?
