southern MN | So, it appears iOS has matured to diminishing returns - people are disliking iOS 8.x now, 7 did everything they wanted, no compelling need to upgrade and 8 seems to have some problems.
Third party apps do what people want, they don't need apple to do it all. Like the mapping oops Apple had, others do it better.
Study just came out that Siri is the worst for creating distracted driving, compared to others. While this is a nit pik of a study, the headline remains, Apple is worst.......
Some folks want the bigger iPhones that just came out, but it is becoming a finishing market - some folks just want a cell phone, some folks want a tablet, only some want an in between big phone/ small tablet. The market is getting fragmented, no longer dominated by one 'wow' gadget.
Other tablets are making inroads on the iPads.
Music - no one gets excited about iPods any more.
Has Apple peaked?
This is more of a business discussion than a tech discussion, so wasn't sure where to put it.... Wife has 2 iPads and several Mac computers, I have an iPad, so not anti-Apple here - just looking at the markets, I wonder if Apple has peaked and its downhill from here?
