| You getting some fun grandparenting time again? It's great isn't it. I got to spend a couple days with Eli, but he had to go to school. So I had to go out by the bus stop real near their house as they won't let kindergarten age kids get off the bus without someone there for them. The bus stops and I can hear Eli before I see him. He is calling "grandma, grandma, grandma" and come running off the bus with his arms stretched out. Just made my heart melt.
Got a shock today. Our daughter messaged me that Eli wanted his hair cut and had even taken a scissors to it a couple times. So mommy asked him if he wanted it short and he said yes. She cut it short and when he looked at it, he cried for an hour. Today he went to school with a CAT hat on that we had given him. But someone must have said something nice about it as he got off the bus and was all happy about it. Kids are fun. | |
