Allergies are AWEFUL this time of year. For some reason seeing more this year. Even my dogs are scracthing driving me and them crazy. Benadryll can help. There are inhalent allergies like our hay fever and then allergies caused by food. If it is seasonal - spring and fall - usually inhalent. Steroids can reduce the reaction, medicated baths help, sometimes antibiotics are needed for secondary skin infections from them chewing and scratching. Some folks whipe or rinse the dogs paws and belly off when they come in from outside. This can help reduce the pollen and molds and dust the dog bring in on their coats and feet. Also going out when the grass is dry will help.
Taking my girl in for an oatmeal shampoo bath today.
ALso I treat for fleas just in case sometimes it only takes ONE

I would check with the vet and ask about uping the dose of benadryl or other meds that may help.
