Little River, TX | One night, the dogs needed to go out.
I got them our side and then back in the house ok.
I Just could not stand up without holding on.
Did not like the symptoms and took an aspirin and sat down on the back porch.
At the time I actually thought I was dying from a stroke or heart attack.
A few hours later the wife came out on the enclosed porch & asked if I was ok.
I said yes now.
Her Father visited me and said not to get in a hurry it was not yet my time. He died in 1959.
Then a neighbor was there and said much the same thing. She had died a Year Ago.
Now I do not remember any of this, but she says it was what I told her that morning at first light.
A year earlier I dreamt I had died and showed up to get into heaven. Asked the fellow at the gate where was our dog Okie who had been killed by an owl just a few weeks earlier.
Fellow did not know.
I said I was not interested if my dog was not there.
He left and came right back with Okie and every dog I had ever known.
Now I feel bad that I had not asked about the Cats, or about the number of people I had almost died with when they were killed.
What about all my friends and relations who are now dead.
