This is only the second time we have made it so we are still learning. All we did is throw the peeled root in the food processor and add enough vinegar to make it chop easily. I never thought of putting sugar in it. Might have to try that next year How do you keep it nice? Last time it turned brown on us after a couple months in the fridge.
