Have been told some is due to poorer isolation in seed production and others have said in the droughts, the off types dont show themselves so they cant be rouged out. We had 37-07 dekalb last year and it was table top but 53-67 this year is ugly. Probably wont make any difference in yield, just looks ugly and has our neighbors accusing us of bringing shattercane back in!
