Dalton, OH | Ended up going to Mackinac island. Left last Friday and came back Monday. Wonderful place to go especially this time of year. Beautiful, Perfect weather, no crowds, all of the "tourist stuff" souvenirs were on sale due to the end of the season. Absolutely one of the best vacations I've went on from a relaxing standpoint in a long time! We rented a bike one of the days and rode around the island and then walked around the second day. It was a 7 hour drive up and back which wasn't bad without the kids in tow. Highly recommend this trip to everyone, but make sure you go September or early October. We went for a day with the kids a couple of years ago in July and it was so crowded it wasn't even fun.
