Might as well get steering while your at it. We run Trimble either 750 or 1000 plus a 500 on a tillage tractor. Field IQ is what you will need to run the clutches along with the air system to turn them on and off. We run all RTK but if you don't you probably will only shut off every 2 rows. Next year we will be pulling a 3800 with a 9682 with RTK and autopilot. We have had no problems with the trucount clutches and will install them on the 3800. I would recommend the FM 1000 even though they are more money but IMO they are worth it. Hybrid tracking is better plus that screen can do anything down the road. Unlocks get pricey but once they are done you have a great screen. There are also great ways of doing RTK cheap if you have cors in your area.
