Western illinois | I ran my 2388 in corn with the rotor around 350, fan 1100+ -, concave start at corn setting. I ended up running the bottom sieve wide open and cleaning with the chaffer. Close the sieve some in beans. Run the rotor anywhere from 500-700 depending on conditions. Open concave up a little. The thing I always liked about those machines is, two guys could have them set differently and still do a good job. They are a nice combine and very forgiving. You may want to retard the vanes in dry corn and speed them up in beans. | |
