Lowering the header will not always toggle the mapping recorder, I think typically it starts every other time the header is lowered.  We are running a 2630 in a 9660.  You should be able to check on your display what software version is on the moisture sensor, if it not 1.20C it will cause the problem.  A temporary solution you can try is turning off overlap control, that seems to be a way to get around the problem temporarily.
