When you exported,, did it ask you about "Tags"??
If it did , that's where you HAVE TO ADD your variety numbers. I have a client that has a Intelliview 2 ,, it's a pro 600 , in a New Holland. That's the only way I've been able to make it work
Tracking varieties with Tags is one option, but requires a lot of manual intervention on the part of the operator, and isn't recommended if you can avoid it.
The recommended method for variety tracking is to export planting/variety maps from the desktop software to the Pro 600/700, and let the Variety Zone software handle the tracking automatically. This way the variety name gets assigned to the region without any action by the operator, and you can see your varieties on the map, and then compare yields, moistures, etc. This also frees up Tags for other purposes such as tracking soil or weather conditions, crop damage, etc.
