I don't understand US adoption procedures but you have too pay $28k in adoption fees? My little sis was adopted when I was around 16 ,I don't think parents paid anything here. Good luck on the fundraiser and wishing best for baby and new parents
Yes it's a horrible system!!! Lawyers make plenty and birth mom get medical and bare necessities paid thru the 9 months of pregnancy.... It's much more expensive to adopt a baby than out of the foster care system.. But government gives $13k tax credit on the year the adoption is finalized so that really helps.. |
