Markets give signals to the producers whether they should produce a product. Dairy farmers were not getting the right signals to stay in business or to produce more. Similar to the beef producers 2-3 years ago. The end users go a feeding frenzy until the supply disappears then whine when there is no supply. I call it the Walmart mentality.
