As they said.  I have even used real hickory charcoal in the catch tray. Turned the gas on as it died.  Now I just use the electric smoker. Sometimes I smoke for an hour and jump to the grill for speed and glazing. Depends on my mood. Tenderloin in the smoker right now. Sweet corn and potatoes should be on the side tonight. Last night's left over peach, blueberry cobbler for desert.
