NS Canada | We have the opposite problem here, if you don't keep ahead of them, a field will grow up within a few years. It used to be all farm land around here, and now there are trees 2 ft across, just in the last 50 yrs in what were fields when my father was a boy.
The poor old buggers who cut them down the first time around and picked all the rocks for the line fences must be turning in their graves. 1000's of acres cleared by hand that only farmed a generation or 2 and then grew back up. And here I am like a sucker clearing it again... | |
