I splint a 5 acre hay feild in half baled and wrapped half of it pastured the other half with some bred heifers. I got 15 bales of hay that fed those heifers for 30 days. They ate the pasture in 6 days. No waste with the balage lots of waste with the pasture. I know I had expense with baling and wrapping but to gain 24 days of feed.
