Subject: Tweaking GPS for field leveling

near Mtl, QC
Hi, I want to be sure my GPS accuracy is at it's best for doing field leveling. My setup is: FM-1000 with FLII on it. GPS source is JD SF3000 on RTK (x2). The base station is on the same field I'm doing the work.

So just some question:

1) How to know if my accuracy is Good? is vdop a trustable number? (about 0.9-1)

2) I didn't update my sf3000 this year, is there some update that would benefits?

3) What else could help? TCM disabled or not?

TIA
