| Boy, do I know they never outgrow the bark all night stage. It's especially bad now because we have massive numbers of geese migrating through, and they like to stop at our slough a 1/2 mile away. Of course, these geese talk all night, drives the Pyr nuts.
How does that work to add a younger Pyr with the older one? We've talked about doing it, but not sure how good they would bond. Food is the next problem. We are already buying high protein dog food from Walmart by the ton. Also, I've never seen anything get as defensive about anything as a Pyr when it comes to guarding their food. Honestly wonder if one would keep the other one from eating.
Lastly, we are weaning 150 lambs on Monday. Between the lambs, the ewes, and the Pyr, I doubt next week is going to be too good for sleeping. Nice chatting with you. | |
