Denhoff,ND right in the center of the State | I've had cows with milk fever before also and Calcium does work, Is this cow injured from delivering calf or does she infact have milk fever? Do a rectal temp. on her and see if she has fever, one other way to tell is if they lay where it is wet or close to sloughs or go into water. Usually a cow with milk fever will be up after she gives birth to calf and get weak later on maybe a day later or so. Keep us posted what you find. |
