Wi | tater1086 - 8/7/2014 21:05 In the fourth picture I noticed the combines were not all sitting level. One was level and the machines ahead or behind were pointed up or downhill when I compared the rear tires to other photos. Why is this?
They were done then and getting ready to move to next field. In addition to scraping them clean and chaining up heads, there are ram stops that get installed on the rear axle leveling cylinders for road travel. Often have to manually raise the rear to get them in. Some guys are older and dont like crawling in and out of cab more times than they have to. Strippers all have auto leveling systems for front/Back and side/side with manual mode for road and service/cleaning. |
