Eastern Arkansas | Depending on dirt type with a 320 hp tractor you should be able to fill a 14 yard scraper pretty easy. You could probably do pretty good with a 17 also. I run 2 17's on an 8360r and 2 18's on a 9630. I used to run the 17's on an 8430 and it did I ok just needed a little more power. The 8360 loads a little slower then the 9630, but even in gumbo you can spill dirt over the sides. Remember it doesn't take any more power to run a train vs single pans and you move twice the amount of dirt per turn. If you are hauling a long distance it will really make the project go faster.
If you want to go real cheap you could find something like this. I bought it last year and have put a couple hundred hours on it. I use it to hog dirt on hills in front of my tractor pulled pans. With GPS control. It's actually a purpose built scraper made in mississippi in the 70's.
