Looks like some real nice hay there.
That pic looks like you have sandy soil? If so, I think you picked the perfect year to seed alfalfa. It'll dig down to find the water as long as it doesn't dry or drown to death the year you seed it. In my case, there's been a lot of the drowning side going on.
