Napanee, Ontario | well the thing about that is the same front month you speak of @ 1.22 used to trade under 100 also just a few months back...
but i guess it will all come down to consumers. We've been over that conversation ad nauseum on here... ie beef already being more than pork, for a while, but still being bought, fast food chains still selling beef based menu... anyways. I don't a magic bullet answer for consumer preference changes, but it's not going to be the exodus over to pork and chicken the way some posters on here would have you believe.
Funny thing about that one is I heard the same lines about chepaer pork and chicken stealing all the market share last fall when FC were first hitting 1.60... well here we are, 60 cents later, and Fats at 1.60. And low and behold, still seems like folks are buying burgers and fries.
