NW Central Ohio | ...If you just want to kill chickweed...and burn off quite a few other weeds, Get a half pound of generic metribuzin on (5.50/acre) and a pint of 2,4-D (4lb. material at about 2.75/acre) and a quart of crop oil.....You'll have enough residual to get you to fall that way...and it will kill the chickweed pretty well. The 2,4-D doesn't do much for chickweed, but it will work over lots of other weeds. You can subsitute dicamba for the 2,4-D and the dicamba does have activity on chickweed....It's just a choice of one or the other that could be made. | |
