they have HAIR Genetics.....some don't and they won't grow winter hair from the area Your talking.

SOOOOO...go look and sort the "Slicks" OFF.


Your seasonal move is Fine.....going North get those extreme Southerns IN before the end of August.

I can send You a set of High Country SW Heifers that will do it there in the winter.
"Hair Like a Bear," is how our cattle Must be here.

it don't snow much here in the High Country SW anymore it seems here....plenty of dry cold wind and 40 below though.
