I like kohlrabi, but every time I have tried to eat one that big is was like chewing on a tree stump. Is that a special variety that doesn't get woody?
I don't think I would care for them fried either, but I would reserve final judgement until I actually tried them. Maybe if you fried them with bacon-everything is good with bacon.
