Dayton, IA | One thing to keep in mind is shrink. You are not only loosing condition of the feed but also dry matter by keeping the wet around too long. If you figure on a dry matter basis, the dry might not be that much more expensive and by the time you figure in trucking on the extra water and shrink, if your not using it up fast enough the wet could cost you a lot of money over dry.
