Subject: RE: Corn versus Milo in crop rotation with cotton

Texas
Am I reading this right?? You think the yields for corn and milo would be very similar in this situation??

I really thought the corn would yield more with the same amount of water. Our annual rainfall is somewhere around 15 inches per year. I would have the capability to put on about 10 to 12 inches from say May 15 until July 15 but would have to pull off the corn to water cotton. Years like this year, corn would work but the last couple of years of drought would have been a little more difficult. A few guys did grow corn on pivots last year and there yield were okay. 150 bush..
