| It's still toxic after it's dried, but the poison supposedly dissipates somewhat.
The most dangerous part about it is the berries. If it doesn't have them yet, it will be less risk.
Last year I made some "free" hay that was loaded with horsenettle (a nightshade) and it was full of berries already. When I fed those bales I unrolled them and walked down the row with a 5 gal bucket and picked out every one I saw. I didn't have any problem, but that hay didn't seem so free anymore by the time I got it all fed out. | |
