Subject: RE: Happy 100th Birthday!

I have known this man all my life. He is truly amazing. Lots of stories. When he first started farming he farmed in Oklahoma and Texas both. Got up in the mornings in Ok. milked his cows and then flew to Plainview Texas and farmed till time to go home to Ok and milk cows again. He rented his land out when he was in his early 90s. Told the renter he could farm the pivots but he got to keep the corners. Put in underground tile by himself (had the ditches dug). When he was 97 he had drip irrigation put in. Wants to make 4 bale cotton someday. This year he planted grain sorghum. Needs the organic matter for next years crop. Celebrated his 100th birthday last Saturday. Had the stomach bug so couldn't go - I was really disappointed. You should hear him lead a prayer at church. Intelligent well spoken and a great Christian. In case you can't tell I think a lot of Elmo Snelling.
