I guess I'll be the odd one out.  I would choose the 4960.  I ran a 4760 and and 7240 side by side for a few years.  It is true the Magnum is quite reliable but my 4760 has been even more so.  Everything about the Magnum was a little clunky, from how it steered to how notchy the shft lever was to the cheap seat and I could go on and on.  I have the fuel set up just a little on the 4760 and I believe it will easily pull anything the 7240 pulled and it was also "juiced".  I realize we all look at different things and I am not downing anybody that love Magnums.  You have one and you know what it is like, so you be the judge.
