Sounds to me like you still have all the risk for no benefit other than 5% financing, which you could get at a bank anyway. Equity risks nothing and you are bound by contract to give them your animals at market time--even if there's a better deal somewhere else.
You = all risk, no gain.
Equity = no risk, all gain.
I would bet "you never take ownership of he animals" wouldn't apply if one died.
