What if you buy 250lbs calves and grow them slow on a low energy pasture grower ration then finish them higher energy finishing ration like some do in WI? That will take a long time, I wonder if they would still satisfied with 5% of the purchase price of the calves? I assume you do not have to pay for the calves until you sell the finished animals?
