| At the end of the day, we are below cost of production for corn pretty much everywhere in the world right now. We do have a build in world stocks coming if the US crop finishes out like it looks like it is going to, but demand isn't getting smaller at current prices. There are 3 major corn crops grown (US, China, and Brazil/Argy) to meet the massive world demand. Next up is planting in South America. Do you think they are going to pull their weight when the price of corn is significantly below their cost of production? If you think yes, I agree to disagree. If you think no, then you have to move some of that demand to the US. And when you move some of that demand to the US, it is pretty easy to figure out what prices in the US will do. | |
