Here's what I have for covered bunks - the one in the picture is 190'. Trouble with covered bunks is getting the feed in it...I made myself a cart from a narrowed up chopper box. I wouldn't recommend putting 2x's in the inside of the bunk, but that's the way it came, and it does guide my cart. The base is a 4" concrete poured slab.

It's nice not having to shovel snow and/or having wet feed...
