Central Kansas | It all depends on what you want to do. We asked the same question when we bought our 1770 planter. Yes it will control the planter but will not talk to a Raven 440 monitor to adjust spray rates. John Deere is very limited in what they will let you do without their complete system. Ask the question again to tech support and be specific about what exactly you want to do now and perhaps in the future. Mating the two together and encountering problems results in both parties blaming the other for it not performing. You are left frustrated trying to figure it out. | |
