Wi | Buster 50 - 7/9/2014 18:07 Took a 85607 Car Quest oil filter off the Cummins in the Hagie today. Should I find a substitute or see if I can find a Car Quest dealer? I'm thinking about cutting it open and taking a look at the inside maybe take a few pictures..
85607 is a Car Quest Blue filter. Blue filters are made by Wix and are the same as the standard Wix as well as the Napa Gold filters. Same filters, different paint job all very good replacement filters for the most part. If you cherry pick there are some that are not as good or not as good of a deal, but overall you wont have any major issues using these filters.
1607 is the Napa Gold part number. 51607 is the Wix number. Generally just add a 5 in front of gold. |
