Sumner County Kansas "The Wheat Capital" | A lot of acres around here that have not been harvested yet. Some will get sprayed with some gly. to clean it up for harvest. Weeds and crab grass are going crazy. Lots of acres that would have been double cropped to milo will stay wheat stubble till next spring. I have 350 that I will rotate to milo not able to double crop. Know of several fields that didn't get first crop milo planted yet, not sure what they will do. Rain just keeps coming. Glad I finished wheat on the 21st before the monsoon started. |
