Subject: RE: grain bag how many bushels?

Strathcona, mn
I've had 26-28% corn in bags since November and have been drying it as time allows. We've encountered very little spoilage on the ends. We've seen up to 15000 bushels in a properly stretched bag. I've been very happy with bagging grain in our first year. Unloading really wet corn is a pain but we've unloaded 1200 bushels of dry canola in around 10min, trucker was extremely pleased with how well it worked. We will be bagging a lot more at our satellite fields and not haul so much to a centeralized location any more.
